La nueva autoridad de la entidad indicó que «están en conversaciones y coordinación para reasumir esas competencias de esos servicios tan importantes para el estado Zulia», en cuanto asuma el cargo como Gobernador.

Rosales dijo sentirse muy optimista, y que está a la espera de iniciar la gestión en la entidad para trabajar «duro con mucha fe y fuerza de la mano con todos los zulianos, para que la región florezca, es el compromiso».
«Hemos pasado por muchas calamidades, estamos viviendo circunstancias difíciles, pero hay que seguir adelante, me inspiro en Dios, en La Chinita, en la fe, el optimismo, estoy seguro que vamos a salir victorioso de esta tarea que muchos lo ven difícil, pero no imposible», aseveró.
