Víctor Julio Cano Páez, de nacionalidad colombiana, era la persona encargada de captar a funcionarios públicos de elección popular (diputados y alcaldes) para armar la red de narcotráfico cuyo desmantelamiento fue anunciado este viernes por la Superintendencia Nacional Antidrogas (SUNAD). Hasta ahora han sido detenidos 16 personas como presuntos integrantes de esa red, entre ellos una alcaldesa, tres diputados, un legislador y un asistente del Poder Legislativo.
En el caso de Cano Páez, éste fue detenido el domingo 7 de noviembre de 2021 en el Puerto Marítimo de La Guaira, cuando se dio el primer golpe a esa red del narcotráfico mediante la operación «Mano de Hierro. Junto a él también detuvieron a Luis Alfonso Viloria Chirinos, asistente del Poder Legislativo y quien trabajó con el diputado Luis Parra (Primero Venezuela) cuando éste se desempeñó como presidente de la Asamblea Nacional el año 2020. El papá de Viloria Chirinos, identificado como Luis Viloria Sáez, igualmente fue atrapado ese domingo de noviembre, reseña Últimas Noticias.
También detuvieron a Robert De Jesús Montaña Viloria, el encargado de hacer inteligencia y escoger a los potenciales colaboradores de la red.
“El cerebro de la red”, comentó una fuente al periodista Eligio Rojas.
Los otros apresados en La Guaira son: Samuel David Montilla Hernández, Wilmer Henrique Hernández Torres, Delwis José Paredes Monsalve y un hombre de nacionalidad colombiana.
Estos ocho sujetos venían de San Cristóbal (Táchira) en tres camionetas donde transportaban 336 panelas de cocaína.
La alcaldesa
Las investigaciones prosiguieron y el 4 de enero pasado detuvieron en Táchira a Jeycar Pérez, diputada electa por la Organización Renovadora Autentica (ORA), partido de confesión evangélica. Ella renunció a la diputación ese día de su detención. Le incautaron varios vehículos. Presumen que su esposo Arquímedes González, está implicado en la red. Aún no ha sido capturado.
Pérez estaba siendo investigada desde septiembre del año 2020, investigación que condujo a la detención en La Guaira de las ocho personas con las 336 panelas de cocaína.
A raíz de los primeros interrogatorios formulados a la exdiputada Pérez, las autoridades dieron con el diputado al Consejo Legislativo de Táchira, Jean Carlos Silva (Podemos), quien también resultó capturado, reseña Últimas Noticias.
Lo declarado por Pérez igualmente sirvió para que los agentes detuvieran el pasado 27 de enero a la alcaldesa chavista del municipio Jesús María Semprum, de Zulia, Keyrineth Fernández Epieyú, a la diputada Taina González Rubio (PSUV), al funcionario de Polizulia, Gregorio Francisco Amariz Meléndez, así como a Kelvin Epieyú Machado, Render José Villalobos Epieyu y un hombre de nacionalidad colombiana apodado el «Compa».
Estas personas fueron detenidas en el sector Sabana Alta, municipio Píritu, estado Falcón. Al momento del abordaje, una camioneta Toyota 4Runner, sin placa que los escoltaba, se dio a la fuga. La alcaldesa y los demás sujetos se desplazaban en dos camionetas donde llevaban siete panelas de cocaína, tres armas de fuego y tres radios trasmisores.
Cano Pérez, el que se encargaba de captar a los funcionarios públicos, a su vez era el representante en Venezuela de Timberland 404, el grupo del narcotráfico colombiano que empleaba el territorio venezolano para sacar sus alijos de droga hacia Estados Unidos y Europa, entre otras partes, de acuerdo a lo investigado.
De hecho, las panelas incautadas a los detenidos en Falcón, tenían un sello con ese nombre y el slogan “de Colombia para el mundo”.
