La Gobernación del estado Zulia presentó este miércoles 19 de enero una propuesta dirigida a las universidades privada de la región para dar continuidad a las becas que la actual gestión del Ejecutivo zuliano heredó de la anterior gstión y que busca beneficiar a más de dos mil 500 estudiantes.
“Queremos hacer pública hoy una propuesta que hemos manejado con las universidades y es que en este primer trimestre del 2022 se permita inscribir a los estudiantes que estén cursando los tres últimos trimestres de su carrera y que reprobaran, máximo, una materia”, explicó Juan Pablo Lombardi, secretario de Despacho del gobernador Manuel Rosales.
El funcionario agregó que los estudiantes de cualquier trimestre que en los últimos tres meses del año 2021 aprobara todas sus materias también se les permita inscribir. Destacó que quienes reprobaron más de una asignatura se le congelará el curso a la espera de determinar si se les dará continuidad a sus estudios.
“Esto sería un impulso para que mantengan su prosecución, sus planes de graduación lo antes posible y repito esto es un esfuerzo extraordinario desde la gobernación y es un compromiso que se asume a partir de enero de 2022 con estos jóvenes y estudiantes”, aseguró Lombardi.
Afirmó que el gobierno zuliano dará prioridad a los estudiantes que aún estén en el país ya que, a pesar de que las universidades se adaptaron al formato de estudios a distancia, la modalidad aún es semipresencial.
Indicó que la intensión del gobernador Rosales es que el programa regrese a sus orígenes y dejar la política a un lado para que vuelva a su naturaleza que es beneficiar a los muchachos que más lo requieran, que tengan compromiso, así como la vocación de colocar los estudios como prioridad.
“La idea es que definitivamente sea beneficioso para la mayoría. Que los jóvenes tengan una esperanza de estudiar y graduarse e invitarlos, a través de esos estudios y su graduación, a seguir comprometidos con Venezuela”, señaló el representante del Ejecutivo zuliano.
Las universidades Rafael Belloso Chacín (Urbe), Rafael Urdaneta (URU), la Católica Cecilio Acosta, Santiago Mariño, José Gregorio Hernández (UJGH), Instituto Universitario de Tecnología Readic (UNIR) y el Instituto Politécnico Santiago Mariño son las que recibieron la propuesta de la Gobernación.

El secretario Lombardi anunció que próximamente vendrán anuncios donde explicarán cómo será el formato y el reglamento para los nuevos ingresos en las becas Jesús Enrique Lossada.
“Tenemos que, responsablemente, ver qué podemos cubrir, hasta dónde podemos cubrir y repito la intención del gobernador es fortalecer este programa y seguir apoyando a la juventud zuliana”, puntualizó.
