El mensaje estuvo acompañado de otro del presidente de la FVF, Jorge Giménez, en el que expresaba que desde la federación están listos para «hacer valer los derechos» de las jugadoras, reseña EFE.
«Es hora de luchar por el respeto y la equidad», agregó Giménez.
A través de un comunicado difundo también en Twitter por la jugadora Deyna Castellanos, un grupo de 24 futbolistas venezolanas acusó a Zseremeta de haber abusado sexualmente de una de ellas, además de haberlas sometido a acoso físico y psicológico.
La Fiscalía venezolana anunció el comienzo de una investigación contra Zseremeta y Pino.
El documento fue firmado, además de por Castellanos, por Lourdes Moreno, Gabriela García, María Gabriela García, Hilary Vergara, Sandra Luzardo, Michelle Romero, Fatima Lobo, Franyely Rodríguez Nikol González, Camila Pescatore y Daniuksa Rodríguez.
