Escándalo en Dubai por desnudos de mujeres en un balcón para grabar video (Foto)

Una docena de modelos posó sin ropa en un rascacielos de la ciudad, a la vista de cientos de vecinos que grabaron las escenas y las viralizaron en las redes

La policía en Dubái detuvo a varias personas por cargos de escándalo público, según dijeron las autoridades, debido a un video viral en el que aparecían mujeres desnudas posando en un balcón de la ciudad.

Incumplir la ley de decencia pública en Emiratos Árabes Unidos, que afecta al nudismo y otros “comportamientos lascivos”, conlleva penas de hasta seis meses de prisión y multas de hasta 5.000 dirhams (unos 1.360 dólares). Compartir material pornográfico también puede suponer penas de prisión y multas, en un sistema legal basado en la ley islámica sharia.

El sábado por la noche se difundieron en medios sociales videos y fotografías en los que aparecían una docena de mujeres desnudas, alineadas en un balcón en el lujoso barrio Marina de Dubái a plena luz del día.

Los detenidos por el video “indecente” fueron derivados para ser procesados, indicó la policía. “Estos comportamientos inaceptables (…) no reflejan los valores y ética de la sociedad emiratí”, indicó el comunicado policial.

Fue una conmoción en la federación de siete reinos árabes, donde comportamientos menos llamativos como besarse en público o beber alcohol sin licencia han enviado a gente a la cárcel. El diario afín al estado The National dijo que parecía ser una “maniobra publicitaria”, sin entrar en detalles.

Bernie Debusmann, periodista basado en la ciudad, reportó que se trata de una campaña de una página pornográfica. Además, dijo que varios vecinos captaron las escenas y que los videos estaban siendo muy compartidos en WhatsApp.
