El papa Francisco se declaró en contra de toda intervención extranjera en Venezuela

El papa Francisco agradeció hoy el anuncio de alto el fuego entre Israel y el movimiento islamista Hamás, tras once días de enfrentamientos y cientos de muertos, y deseó que encuentren el camino del diálogo y de paz.

“Pienso en lo que está sucediendo en estos días en Tierra Santa. Doy gracias a Dios por la decisión de detener los enfrentamientos armados y espero que se sigan los caminos del diálogo y la paz” dijo Francisco al recibir a un grupo de embajadores que presentaron al pontífice sus cartas credenciales.

Francisco explicó que mañana, los católicos en Tierra Santa celebrarán la Vigilia de Pentecostés junto con sus fieles en la iglesia de Santo Stefano en Jerusalén y que implorarán “el don de la paz”, por lo que aprovechó la ocasión para pedir “a todos los pastores y fieles de la Iglesia católica que se unan a ellos en oración”.

“Que la súplica al Espíritu Santo se eleve en cada comunidad para que israelíes y palestinos encuentren el camino del diálogo y el perdón, para ser pacientes constructores de paz y justicia, abriéndose paso a paso a una esperanza común, a una convivencia. entre hermanos”, agregó.
