AMLO modificará Constitución si jueces fallan en la reforma eléctrica

El presidente de México, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, anunció este miércoles que modificará la Constitución para acomodar su polémica reforma eléctrica si los tribunales fallan que esta es inconstitucional.

“Yo estoy seguro que es constitucional la reforma eléctrica, pero si los jueces y ministros determinan que es inconstitucional y no puede proceder, enviaría yo una iniciativa de reforma a la Constitución”, aseguró el mandatario en su conferencia de prensa matutina en Palacio Nacional.

López Obrador está inmerso en una batalla judicial luego de que al menos dos jueces hayan suspendido provisionalmente la aplicación de su reforma, que beneficia a la eléctrica pública Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) en detrimento de las empresas privadas.

El presidente se mostró convencido de que en caso de impulsar una reforma constitucional tendrá el apoyo de las “dos terceras partes” del Congreso necesarias para tirarla adelante después de las elecciones intermedias del 6 de junio.

“No puedo ser cómplice del robo, del atraco. No puedo aceptar que los particulares dañen la hacienda pública y afecten a la economía de los pobres”, dijo el mandatario, quien criticó que las grandes corporaciones pagan ahora menos por la electricidad que un negocio humilde.

López Obrador dijo estar “en la mejor disposición de que haya acuerdos” con las empresas privadas de energía, pero puso como condición que “tiene que haber descuentos” en el precio de la energía.

Varias compañías energéticas afectadas por la reforma han presentado amparos ante los juzgados logrando suspensiones provisionales de la nueva política eléctrica de México.

Ante esta situación, López Obrador envió una carta al presidente de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación, Arturo Zaldívar, exigiendo que se investigue a Juan Pablo Gómez Fierro, primer juez en detener la reforma.

“Sería lamentable que después de todo el daño que la oligarquía ha causado al país, sigamos permitiendo el abuso y la prepotencia bajo la excusa del Estado de Derecho”, dijo el mandatario en su polémica carta.

A pesar de esta exigencia, el presidente aseguró este miércoles que a diferencia de lo que ocurría durante los Gobiernos anteriores “ahora hay autonomía e independencia de poderes”.

“Luchamos pro una democracia, no aspiramos a una dictadura. Queremos una auténtica división de poderes que no había, porque antes el poder de los poderes era el presidente”, dijo.

La reforma eléctrica ha sido criticada por los empresarios por vulnerar contratos y acuerdos internacionales, y dañar al medioambiente, pues relega a las energías limpias.
